Visitation Monastery

Project Description:
Re-roofing using multiple types of material. Roof was 100 years old. Thomas was approached by Sisters and Bishop to replace in a way that the new roof would last at least as long as current roof. Thomas Roofing had to have slates shipped in
from France.
Project Highlights:
All work had to be done with minimal interruption to the Nuns and the activity of the Monastery. Particular care had to be taken with removal of original roof to ensure water tightness to protect historical and valuable items within the building.
All Saints Episcopal Church 
Location:
Government Street, Mobile, AL
Project Description:
Removed tile roof, installed waterproof membrane and flashings. Properly re-installed tile roof. Replaced all low sloped roof systems with new
low-sloped roof systems. Restored the old stone and mortar exterior.

St. James Episcopal Church

Fairhope, AL
Project Description:
Shingle and copper standing seam roofing
on this new building.
St. Joseph’s Chapel 
Location:
On the campus of Springhill College, Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL
Project Description:
New roof system for chapel renovation.
The project required removal of existing roof
system and installation of new roof throughout
including spires and extensive repair to roof
structure at eaves. Project included casting of
capitals to insure original authentic look.
