Todd Beech, General Superintendent
Todd Beech grew up in Chatham, Alabama, and joined the workforce at an early age. His career in the roofing industry started in 1979 when he took a job with his uncle. He’s been in the roofing business ever since. Todd began working with Thomas Roofing in 1987. He is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors. In his spare time, Todd likes to hunt and fish. He’s a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association.
David Chaney, Project Superintendent
David Chaney, also known as “Big Dave”, has spent his entire career perfecting his skills in the roofing industry. Dave grew up in Marengo County, Alabama and moved to the Mobile area in 1979. He began his career with Thomas Roofing in 1990 as a laborer and is now Project Superintendent. “Big Dave” says his work with Thomas Roofing is more than a job, it’s his passion. He’s proud of his commitment to the company, his co-workers and, more importantly, the clients he serves. The only thing “Big Dave” enjoys more than his work is spending time with his grandchildren.
Steve Harbison, Sheet Metal Superintendent
Fairhope native Steve Harbison is Thomas Roofing’s Sheet Metal
Superintendent. He has been with Thomas Roofing since 1995. He brings more than 30 years of experience to the team. Steve has been working in the industry since he graduated from high school in 1974. Of all the jobs he has held over the years, he’s most proud of being a part of the Thomas Roofing team which delivers quality, top notch service. When he’s not at work, you can bet Steve is out hunting.
Lisa Irby, Service Department Manager
Lisa Irby is our Service Department Manager and the person who keeps everything and everyone “in line” at Thomas Roofing. Lisa, who has been with the company since 1991, values the family atmosphere. She received her education at Mobile College & Southeast College of Technology.
Don Frazier, Service Superintendent
Mobile native Don Frazier began working with Thomas Roofing in 1987. He enjoys working for a company that employs quality roofers who offer outstanding workmanship. As Service Superintendent, Don is charged with overseeing the roofing team’s service schedule and progress for each project. Don is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors. When he is not on the job, Don enjoys playing softball and coaching his daughter’s
softball team.
Gaillard Teague, Senior Project Manager
Gaillard Teague was born and raised along the Gulf Coast. He graduated from Auburn University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science. Gaillard has been with Thomas Roofing since 2002.
Before joining the Thomas team, Gaillard worked with a commercial roofing and decking company out of Birmingham, Alabama.
Raymond Bing, Jr., Sheetmetal Estimator / Project Manager
Ray Bing has held numerous positions with Thomas Roofing since 1982. Today he is Project Manager and Chief Estimator for the Sheet Metal Department. Before moving into the roofing and sheet metal industry, Ray served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer from 1979 to 1981.
F.C. (Sonny) Payne, Senior Estimator
Forrest Payne also known as “General P” is a committed member of the Thomas Roofing team who joined the ranks in 1963. He has more than four decades of roofing experience under his belt. Sonny served in the United States Military from 1965 to 1968.
Matthew Lowther, Estimator
Matthew Lowther has lived all over the world including Paris, France and Madrid, Spain. He’s proud to now call South Alabama his home and Thomas Roofing his employer. Matthew has been with Thomas Roofing since 2004 and works as an estimator. Matthew received his education at Manchester Community Technical College in Manchester, Connecticut.
Joe K. Pomeroy, Estimator / Project Manager
Joe Pomeroy’s professional career began as a golfer and somehow followed a path to the roofing industry. He joined the Thomas team in 1998. He says the company’s family atmosphere and commitment to excellence make him proud to be a Project Manager with Thomas Roofing. Joe is a University of Alabama graduate.
